Board to discuss Thunder Bayou funding Thursday

The Finance Committee of the Blytheville City Council will be holding a special meeting at 5 p.m. on Thursday to discuss the budget for Thunder Bayou Golf Links. When the council voted on Jan. 29 to pass the 2016 budget, the board only appropriated $80,537 in funding for the golf course for the months of January and February. Therefore, with that appropriation expiring Monday evening, the committee would have to agree to extend the funding to keep the course open...
