BFD evacuates part of Kenwood

The Blytheville Fire Department was forced to evacuate the north side of the 2300 block of Kenwood Thursday while workers from SourceGas worked to repair a ruptured gas line as a result of unapproved digging behind those houses. Approximately five homes were involved in the evacuation, but as of 4:50 p.m., a spokesman said that workers had just finished the repair and that families would be allowed to return "very soon"...
