Hard Hat employee allegedly steals $6,000 worth of scratch-offs

A Hard Hat employee is suspected of stealing $6,000 worth of instant lottery tickets. The store owner told police that the woman has been stealing the scratch-off tickets for quite some time, possibly since January. "(The store owner) said that inventory had not been conducted properly at the store, but when the the Arkansas Lottery began drafting larger than normal amounts out of the store's bank account (the store owner) checked into why the amounts were getting larger but ticket sales were the same, he discovered the theft," the report reads.. ...
