City tears down eighth house

The city of Blytheville tore down its eighth dilapidated house since late August, getting rid of a blighted structure on Kenwood, Monday. Blytheville firemen were on hand to spray the structure as it came down in the event there was asbestos. The city is allowed to tear down one house per block each year without testing for asbestos.
